Website build in progress

The 151/156 Parachute Battalion Association website is now under-construction. The plan is to have an online archive dedicated to the memory of those who served and fought in the 151/156 Parachute Battalion from its formation in 1941 to its eventual destruction in and around the village of Oosterbeek.

It is also hoped to serve as a point of contact on information of the activities of the Association from our reunions in Melton Mowbray to walks and tours in Arnhem.

Although myself (Will Stark) will lead the development of the website it would be great to have assistance from members of the association. I have had help from various members including John O’Reilly, Rosie Anderson, John Silk and John Howes already. If members would like to contribute and have any stories, memories, images or documents they would like to share we can really start to build an online archive.

We are also open to ideas to what content we can put here. I am currently researching and creating an expanded Roll of Honour where as much information about each soldier can be found in one place. If you would like to contribute to any part of the website, have suggestions or get involved in any way then email me at will@156para.co.uk.
